I've had Lingo for a few years. Not one problem with the actual service. Call quality has always been fine, but I've always had the highest speed broadband available at the time ( Now Fios). Lingo has more features (included the really cool advanced forwarding per number not line) than companies like Vonage ( which I tried). My only complaint would be the customer service!

I've had Lingo for several years and have not had any problems with service or support. I had one modem burn out on me after a few years, but got a new one from them no problem. I love the flexible calling features. I'm gonna change over to Talk 365 to save $60 over the next year.

I don't get it. I've used Lingo for over 4 years and have had only 1 glitch, about 2 years ago, because of a bad power supply. Their phone support is typical 3rd world, but the service has gone on virtually uninterrupted for the entire time I've had it. I did get screwed by SunRocket a while back (I have more than 1 VoIP provider), but Lingo's been really great!

I can not speak for the phone service. Only their off-shore customer service and their desire to take your money regardless of whether they earn it or not. Their customers service will make no concessions under any circumstances. I signed up for a 30 day trial and never used the service or switched over my land line number. I canceled the trial but they continued to hit my credit card. I got the credit card company to investigate and revoke the charges. Now they have hired an attorney who just mailed me stack of pages they claim to be my call log listing calls to places I never call and couldn't have called as their connection box was never hooked up. My ill advised 30 day free trial has resulted in a five month battle to avoid paying over $300 for zero calls made or received. These are not people you want to do business with.

Lingo just sells service. They do not provide service. It has been two weeks since I got my lingo phone; I have not been able to make a single phone call. Voice breaks up, cannot understand a single word. Called customer care many times. I was on phone 2 - 3 hours everyday with them. They could not fix it. They keep transferring me back and forth between so-called tech people. They promise to call back, they never do. They put on very long holds. Customer care rep in India seemed to loose temper also. Pathetic customer care service. I lost my landline also because the number was transferred to lingo. So now, courtesy of lingo, I have zero communication with rest of the world except through my cell phone, and on that I have all minutes used up... all because of lingo.

Lingo was service was horrible/unusable. I spent over 5 hours on the phone one day trying to get through to a representative. Good luck getting them to stop billing your credit card after you cancel service.

I use Lingo's Talk 365 plan. At $195 per year, it is a bit pricey upfront, but the money you will save through-out the year is amazing. Call quality is good and very reliable. The Lingo support staff helped me set-up my voip connection, which was fairly easy, even for a dinosaur like me. I am happy with Lingo.
