Anothr.com offers RSS feeds via Skype

I’ve recently stumbled upon an application called Anothr which allows you to use Skype as an RSS feed reader. RSS is becoming an increasingly mainstream way of getting the latest news and articles as soon as they become available (I use Bloglines, btw).

Basically, everytime an RSS feed you subscribe to is updated, your Skype client rings and provides you with a link to the article. Very handy… but, as I subscribe to heaps of RSS feeds, I don’t know if I’d like my Skype to ring all he time.
